How to Apply Your Hot Press Nails

Step 1: Find Your Perfect Fit

Lay out your nail sizes first! Test each press-on to see which fits best from sidewall to sidewall, then arrange them in order for easy application.

Step 2: Prep Like a Pro

This step is everything for a long-lasting, flawless set. Take a few minutes to prep properly — your nails will thank you later!

  1. Remove any old polish and wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water.

  2. Push back cuticles gently using the wood stick to clear the nail surface. Trim or remove any excess cuticle if needed.

  3. Shape your natural nails with the nail file so they’re even and slightly rounded — this helps the press-ons adhere better.

  4. Lightly buff each nail surface using the buffer to remove shine and create texture for stronger adhesion.

  5. Cleanse each nail with an alcohol pad to remove natural oils, dust, or residue. (If you have oily nail beds, go over them twice!)

  6. Let nails dry completely before applying glue or tabs — moisture can weaken adhesion.

Pro tip: The better your prep, the longer your Hotpress Nails will last. Don’t rush this step!

Step 3: Apply Your Hotpress Nails

Option 1: Nail Glue (Up to 2+ Weeks Wear)

  1. Apply a thin, even layer of glue to your natural nail (avoid the skin).

  2. Add a small drop of glue to the back of your press-on and spread it evenly for extra hold.

  3. Line the nail up with your cuticle and press down firmly at a slight downward angle.

  4. Hold for 20–30 seconds until secure.

Option 2: Adhesive Tabs (Short-Term Wear)

  1. Choose the tab size that fits each nail.

  2. Peel the tab off and apply it sticky-side down to your natural nail (rounded edge near the cuticle).

  3. Press the tab flat, remove the top film, and apply your press-on.

  4. Hold down firmly for 20 seconds.

That’s it! Enjoy your flawless Hotpress Nails — ready for photos, brunch, or anything you have planned.

How to Remove Your Hot Press Nails

For Glue Wearers:

  1. Soak nails in warm, soapy water for 10–15 minutes.

  2. Gently lift the sides of each nail using the wood stick.

  3. Never force removal — if it resists, soak longer.

  4. Once removed, buff off any leftover glue and wash hands.

  5. Finish with a little cuticle oil or hand lotion.

For Adhesive Tabs:
Simply soak in warm water for a few minutes and peel off slowly from the side.
